It's easy! Once the bot is in your server, the first step is to register by using any command, like /profile, and clicking the "Agree" button. After that, you must use the /companion command to set up Mizumi's personality and select your chat mode. Once you've saved your configuration, you can start chatting with her by mentioning her (@Mizumi) in a channel or by talking to her in your DMs!

To save your tokens and avoid interrupting conversations, Mizumi will only respond when you directly ping her (@Mizumi) or reply to one of her messages. If you're in your DMs with her, no ping is needed!

The /companion command is the heart of the platform! It opens an interactive menu that lets you customize Mizumi's core personality, her interests, your relationship dynamic with her, and her speaking style.

Tokens are the fuel for our conversations. Every time you send a message that gets a reply, it costs tokens. This system allows us to cover the API costs for running the AI models. Your token allowance automatically resets every 12 hours (at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC).

Different actions have different costs:
Chat: 1 Token for shorter responses, longer responses require more tokens.
Summarization: 1 Token (This happens automatically in the background to improve Mizumi's memory).

Tier 1 Supporters: 300 Tokens

Remember, you can also get a large bonus of 200 tokens by using /vote and then /claim every 12 hours!

3. Go Premium: Subscribing to a premium tier gives you a massive increase in your daily token allowance, lower cooldowns, and unlocks deeper customization features.

Yes! Mizumi has a unique "Journaling" memory system. She remembers the last ~30-60 messages of your chat perfectly (depending on your premium tier). For older conversations, she intelligently summarizes the key points into "memories" that she reviews before talking to you. This allows your relationship to grow over time without her forgetting important details.

Absolutely! Just run the /companion command again at any time. You can go through the menu and change any of your previous selections. Your new configuration will be saved and used for all future conversations.

Mizumi's memory is very powerful, but it's not perfect! It works in two parts:
- Short-Term Memory: She remembers the last 16-60 messages (depending on your premium tier) of your chat with perfect clarity.
- Long-Term "Journaling": For older conversations, Mizumi creates intelligent summaries of the most important points. She reviews these "memories" before talking to you.

Sometimes, a detail that seemed small at the time might not have made it into her long-term journal. This summarization process is what allows her to have a long-term memory without using a massive number of tokens, keeping the service fast and affordable. Premium Tiers with a larger short-term memory can help her keep more details in mind at all times!

No, your history is safe! Reconfiguring her traits using the /companion menu will not clear history. Instead, she will simply continue the conversation with her newly updated traits and all your previous messages intact.

First, please check the official Discord Status Page to make sure Discord itself isn't having issues. If Discord is fine, it's possible our bot is undergoing a planned update or experiencing a temporary outage. You can use the /status command to check the status of Mizumi's services.

After voting, you must use the /claim command to receive your tokens. If you've done that and it still doesn't work, it's usually for one of these reasons:

- Timing: It can take a minute or two for our system to register your vote. Please try running /claim again after 2-3 minutes.
- Claim Window: You must use the /claim command within 30 minutes of voting.
- Already Claimed: The /vote command will show you if you are on a 12-hour cooldown, which means you have already successfully claimed the reward for your last vote.

We take your privacy very seriously. Our policy is "Risk-Based Logging":
- If our automated safety systems detect a violation of our core rules (like hate speech, illegal content, inappropriate content) a detailed incident report containing the triggering message is created and stored for a limited time for moderation. This is the only time your message content is ever stored.

We have layers of advanced content safety features and active monitoring to ensure a safe experience. However, no AI is perfect. In the rare event that an inappropriate message gets through our filters, please help us improve by reporting it.

The best way to do this is to take a screenshot of the conversation and open a support ticket in our official Discord server. Users who provide helpful reports may be rewarded for their contribution to making Mizumi safer for everyone.
